Misty has a tenuous relationship with the other survivors in both the ’90s and present-day storylines.
However, her bond with Natalie is especially strained in the latter.
When Misty first shows up at Natalie’s door inYellowjacketsseason 1, episode 2, Natalie immediately insults her.
Natalie clearly dislikes adult Misty, and she’s fully aware of what the other woman is capable of.
Still, season 1 never explains her peculiar reaction to Misty’s reappearance in her life.
The girls hoped it would get them rescued, but Misty throws that possibility out the window.

It’s no wonder Nat is so hostile towards her in the adult timeline.
In the teen story,Misty doesn’t do anything that much crazier than the other survivors.
She participates in the hunts and kills people, but that’s true for most of the Yellowjackets.
This is becauseMisty never intended for the girls to be trapped in the Wilderness for this long.
Of course, now Misty realizes help isn’t coming, and she wants to go home eventually.
Coach Ben’s death is a significant loss for her, and she knows what happens when winter arrives.
