However, with Lorelai alone on the trail, the plot felt profoundly pointless.
This gag could have worked if it werent for the limited screen time of the miniseries.
Lorelai had no one to talk to, meaning the shows trademark quick-fire repartee was lost throughout this episode.
When Lorelai gets her sought-after silence, she ends up calling her mother Emily to make peace.
