Reacherseason 3 has received great reviewsand has all the action and suspense audiences love about the series.
Episode 1 does make some tweaks along the way though.
Richard has two bodyguards in the source text instead of one, while Reacher is carryingtworevolvers instead of one.
On the whole, season 3 goes to great lengths to bring Child’s work to the screen.
The title of the novel is a reference to the “Persuader” model shotgun.
It was a smart move to fuse the characters, as it streamlines the narrative even further.

Angel Doll does appear inPersuader, but only briefly.
All that gets him is a paper spike to the brain though.
Beyond the above, the rest of the changesReacherseason 3 has made are negligible.

Based on Lee Child’s novel ‘Persuader,’ Season 3 finds Reacher tangled up in a DEA investigation of an import business owned by Zachary Beck. As is often the case, Reacher has a personal stake in the investigation, when he realizes someone he investigated years ago for a crime during his time in the Army has resurfaced in connection to Beck’s operation. To unravel what’s happening in Beck’s business, the DEA collaborates with Reacher and attempts to send him in undercover to help rescue another undercover DEA informant and put a stop to Beck’s business practices.
