Robles went on to improve to 29-8 in his sophomore year in 2008.
In his 2009-2010 season at ASU, Robles was again named an All-American after going 32-4.
He ultimately finished seventh in the NCAA 125-pound weight class after winning the Pac-10 championship.
Despite being born with one leg, Anthony Robles overcomes significant challenges both at home and in the competitive world of wrestling. His determination and relentless drive lead him to become an NCAA Division 1 wrestling champion, earning him national recognition and a place in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
The film also states that McDonough won two consecutive national championships, which is false.
McDonough, however, won the NCAA title in 2010 and 2012.
As portrayed inUnstoppable, Robles went a perfect 36-0 to become the 2011 NCAA National Wrestling Champion.
