Ofall theMatrixmovies,Resurrectionsis certainly the boldest and most polarizing.
While this certainly worked at times,it leaves the overall experience feeling quite underwhelmingin comparison to its predecessors.
Conversely, the originalMatrixmovie was doing things that Hollywood had never seen before with its action camerawork.
The reason thatThe Matrix Resurrectionsfailed seemed obvious in hindsight; the film doesnt have a target audience.
None of this is present inResurrections,and thats why the story doesnt feel as powerful.
