Rita stuck to her guess of Joan Jett.
Ken guessed that Pearl wasMadonna, but the audience booed him.
Robin said that he thought that he figured it out, and he said that she wasMelissa Etheridge.

Ken thought that she might beSheryl Crow, while Jenny guessed that she wasTrisha YearwoodorKellie Pickler.
Guest panelist Casey Wilson, who was filling in for Rita, mentionedCarrie Underwood.
Rita mentioned Joan Jett andPat Benatar, but went with Pat as her guess.
During theMasked Singerseason 13 quarter finals on Soundtrack of My Life Night, Robin changed his guess toBonnie Tyler.
Rita thought that she might beWynonna Judd, while Jenny mentionedBrandi Carlile.
Robin mentionedAnne Wilson, while Rita wondered if she could beNatalie Maines.
However, the clues actually point in the direction of another amazing singer:Gretchen Wilson.
“Pearl gave a powerhouse performance of “Saving All My Love For You” by Whitney Houston.
She’s so fancy!
Just like a pearl, you gotta crack through a pretty tough exterior to find the treasure inside.
The same’s been said about me my whole life.”
As Pearl appeared in the ocean, she shared,“Growing up, I’ve always loved performing.
But people like me weren’t promised a chance at a big break.
“As she said this, she caught a baseball that was thrown to her.
Gretchen began her career by singing for shoppers at Walmart and working as a bartender.
“She opened a pink umbrella as she said this.
So, watch out world!

“At the end of the clue package, Pearl held a glowing pearl.
After Pearl’s performance, Nick asked her how being Pearl went outside of her comfort zone.
She answered,“I can tell you that I’ve never dressed this fancy before.
“Gretchen has said that she shops at Walmart, rather than wear designer clothes.
Pearl’s clue package took place in a bar called Treasure Trove.
Her mother was a teen mom, and her father left when she was two years old.
By the age of 14, Gretchen worked as a cook and a bartender in local bars.
I dreamed about it every day.”
I appreciate all I learned from that tide pool.
It showed me you work hard, show up, and, no matter what, you keep fighting.
“Pearl explained,“Well, I’m a bit of a ghostwriter myself.
I know how to put pen to paper.
Like everyone, I was dazzled by her.
“A framed photograph of Dolly was then shown.
Pearl went on to say,“This designer dumb-dumb showed up to rehearsals with no clue.
And turns out, Dolly was wearing the perfect outfit.
So when I asked her where she got it, she replied, ‘Don’t worry, honey.
I’ve got two of everything.
you’re free to have one.
A true Cinderella story.
One that I believe is a true hidden gem of hers.
“A figurine of an angel was then shown.
Pearl then said,“Just the idea of her seeing me sing it means the world to me.
So, thank you, Dolly, the reigning Queen of the Opry, for inspiring me.
Oh, and for the outfit - I’ve still got it!”
After Pearl’s performance, another clue was given about her identity.
There was a picture of a strong arm painted on a pair of cowboy boots.
In fact, I’ve been quoted as saying that.
Before the results were announced, Detective Lucky Duck returned to give an important clue about all three finalists.
And it’s been wonderful opening up.
But–spoiler alert!–while I love her music, I am not Shania Twain.”
“When Ken asked her if she was a gold record holder, Pearl answered,“Ooh!
Little better than that!
When Ken asked her last name, Pearl joked,“jam,“as in Pearl Jam.
Pearl also revealed that her favorite food was candy.
Pearl later sang an exciting version of “Your Love” by The Outfield.
And that’s because I’ve been helping my daughter plan her dream wedding to a really good guy.

“Gretchen’s daughter, Gracie Frances Penner, was born on November 9, 2000.
Her father is Gretchen’s ex-boyfriend Mike Penner.
She’s an artist, videographer, photographer, and editor in Nashville.
She got married in 2024.
Pearl’s son-in-law then gave some clues about her, while wearing a mask and with his voice disguised.
He said,“Thanks, Ma!
Oh, it feels good to finally call you that.
I even chickened out the first time.
She’s one tough oyster to crack.
“Pearl flexed her bicep and pointed to it as he said this.
Pearl’s son-in-law continued,“And I get it–Pearl raised her daughter all by herself.
She had to be two parents in one.
I mean, heck, Pearl could hitch a trailer better than anyone I know.
That was a big win for me.
And there was no one more proud, dancing at our reception, than Pearl.
“Gretchen did a choreographed dance in costume to “Dancing Queen” at her daughter’s wedding.
And I know you miss us, but don’t worry–I got things covered at home.”
She replied,“Well, it isn’t really just about the song for me.
It’s really the whole rock genre.
It makes me feel strong.
That one was for the pearls.
Pearl began her clue package by saying,“It’s a showdown you want?
Well, I am no stranger to fighting for survival.
Here, I’ve shown I can do any and all genres.
And, I’ve kept the panel spinnin’ in circles.
So I started my own movement, and ended up opening doors for so many others.
But, tonight, it’s about showing Boogie Woogie the door.
And, believe me, it won’t be easy, but I can stand up for myself.
So, bye, bye Boogie Woogie!
After Pearl’s performance, she revealed that she was connected to Jenny.
However, Lucky Duck rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell and sent them both to the finale.
