Mad Scientist Monster began his clue package by meeting his costume.
He said,“Oh, snap!
You don’t look that mad to me.
Let’s go win this thing.”
“He then poured a red liquid into a container.
Mad Scientist Monster continued,“I was on the path to become the best in my field.
My skills made the scouts go wild.
It seemed like everyone wanted to recruit me to their team.
“He held a radar gun that said,“FAST,“as he said this.
“At that point a funnel of red liquid exploded in his hands.
He continued,“They sidelined me.
I about lost my mind.
But, in the chaos, a new experiment bubbled to the surface.
You see, for every action, there is a reaction.
Mad Scientist Monster then said,“And my reaction changed the world.
I found my purpose.
So, yeah, it turns out, I’m not crazy.
I’m just a little, um, well, mad.
So stay awhile, because there’s a high probability I’ll melt your heart.
“Brian and Tyler Hubbard founded Florida Georgia Line in 2010, and music became Brian’s purpose.
After Mad Scientist Monster’s performance, another clue was revealed about his identity.
He said,“You know what?
Lucky Duck then returned to give one more clue about Mad Scientist Monster.
He shared,“That radar gun really threw the panel a curveball, but here’s a hint.
If you’ve been listening, you’ll hear the right pitch.
“These were more clues about Brian’s experience with baseball.
Mad Scientist Monster’s clue package began with him standing in front of a lake.
At their core, boy bands are about chemistry.
And I know a little something about that.”
“Brian and his wife reconnected years after they first met.
“He then blew kisses to her photograph.
“Mad Scientist Monster explained,“You know what?
It’s an honor to have won the same award as both Backstreet Boys and BTS.
“Florida Georgia Line, Backstreet Boys, and BTS have all won American Music Awards.
In his confessional, Mad Scientist Monster continued to pay tribute to his wife.
He said,“I think I made my wife proud.
She’s the love of my life.
She’s my greatest muse, and my best friend.
And I know she’s probably back there singing along and smiling.”
During Decades Night, Mad Scientist Monster represented the 2010s.
He began his clue package by saying,“Man, I chose the 2010s because they were lit.
Electric cars hit the roads, and smartphones hit the stores.
“Mad Scientist Monster was then shown on a smartphone getting emoji reactions.
He added,“And, it’s one of the best decades of my career.
It seemed like I could conquer the world.
In addition, the sun looked very similar toThe Masked Singerseason 4 winner LeAnn Rimes' Sun costume.
This is becauseFlorida Georgia Line and LeAnn both have songs on the Motley Crue tribute album,Nashville Outlaws.
And, while we had a good run together, it didn’t last forever.
The cowboy hat referenced Florida Georgia Line’s country music career.
I wanted to explore new avenues, and keep our grand experiment going.
But we never tested that hypothesis.
So, I ventured out on my own.
Mad Scientist Monster went on to say,“At first, I was, well, mad.
Now, I realize I learned a major lesson.
Sometimes, chemistry changes.
And that’s okay.
And, not everybody’s gonna love ya.
Well, that’s okay too.
As long as you love yourself.
“Mad Scientist Monster then pointed at a sign that said"Love Yourself!
After Mad Scientist Monster’s performance, another clue was given about his identity.
“Mad Scientist Monster explained,“I’ve performed with someone from season 4.
The Masked Singer season 4’s Crocodile was Backstreet Boys member, Nick Carter.
In his confessional, Mad Scientist Monster said,“You know, that falsetto … Nick let Mad Scientist Monster explain.
I’ve played sports, I love my wife, and I didn’t get here alone.
But, we have shared a stage together.
“In 2017, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban headlined Stagecoach Festival.
Mad Scientist Monster then went on to reveal a major clue about himself.
He said,“Now here’s a colossal clue that’ll drive you mad.
“It was a Tennessee flag.This is because Florida Georgia Line was based in Nashville.
In addition, Brian’s 2024 album is titledTennessee Truth.
He responded,“A Ford Raptor, baby.
“Brian drives this truck,.
Ken then asked him if he won any awards for singing.
He answered,“Yes.
Many, many of them.
“This referred to Florida Georgia Line’s many awards.
Ken also asked Mad Scientist Monster if he was younger than him.
He replied,“Way younger.
“Brian is 39, while Ken is 55.
After the group performance, Detective Lucky Duck returned to give a clue about one of the contestants.
He said,“Panel, I have uncovered something explosive about one of these famous masks.
Turns out, they have stolen something very valuable from you … Robin.
Mad Scientist Monster later sang an emotional rendition of “The Scientist” by Coldplay.
She loves those guys as much as she loves hearing me sing.”
But, secretly, me and the babies do miss him.
When I met Mad Scientist Monster, I didn’t know how to be loved.
Didn’t think I deserved it.
But he was patient with me.
“Mad Scientist Monster was then shown hugging his wife.Brian and his wife have a very supportive relationship.
Mad Scientist Monster’s wife went on to say,“So I helped him too.
I was an audience of one while he worked on his first huge single.
And I’ve done everything I can to support his, well, our, dream.
Honey, I came to life when you came into mine.
Now go out there and share your talent with the world.
“Brian and his wife are very much in love.
Which is really different than what most people know me for.
Party anthem kinda guy.
“Florida Georgia Line is known for their party anthems such as “Cruise.”
“Brian is 39 years old.
Mad Scientist Monster continued,“Plus, with age comes experience.
And, believe me, I’ve been training for this my whole life.
As an athlete-turned-singer I apply a sports-mentality to all my performances.
“This was another reference to Brian being a baseball player.
He added,“I’m workin' hard.
“Mad Scientist Monster was then shown eating spaghetti.
Mad Scientist Monster later added,“The probability of beating me is slim.”
After Mad Scientist Monster’s performance, he revealed that he has a connection to Robin.
He explained,“Oh, Robin.
Remember that Lucky Duck clue about someone stealing something from you?
Well, that was me back in 2013.
Mad Scientist Monster has given incredible performances duringThe Masked Singerseason 13 so far.
He has a beautiful voice and star quality, sohe has the potential to win it all.
