Ken thought that Boogie Woogie wasGeorge Clooney, while Jenny mentionedNeil Patrick Harris.
However, Rita thought that he was a singer, and she guessedJason Mraz.
Reality TV is more popular than ever.
Robin thought that he might beRyan Tedder, while Ken mentionedGavin DeGraw.
Guest panelist Casey Wilson, who was filling in for Rita, guessedJosh Groban.
During Lucky 6 Night, Ken guessed that he wasChris Martin, but Rita disagreed.
She thought that he might beDarren Criss.
Robin mentioned Ryan Tedder again.
Jenny mentionedBrandon Flowers, but Robin disagreed.
DuringThe Masked Singerseason 13 semi-finals, the panelists continued to guess various singers for Boogie Woogie’s identity.
They included Ken’s guess ofEd Sheeran, but Rita didn’t think it was him.
Rita thought that Boogie Woogie wasKevin Jonas.
Although these were all good guesses, the clues point in the direction of another singer:Andy Grammer.
Boogie Woogie’s clue package began with him seeing his mask for the first time.
He gushed,“Yes!
We are one.”
And look at this guy.
He’s certainly capturing the spotlight.
So I taught myself to juggle.
He even learned to juggle.
I even entered a talent show and won.
“His hat was then filled with quarters.
Boogie Woogie admitted,“It was more panic, less disco.
“Andy began his music career as a busker on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California.
And one moment can change everything.
“Boogie Woogie then held out a disco ball.
After his performance, Boogie Woogie said,“Now listen.
My main magic trick for this whole situation is to make the other monsters and singers disappear.
But in like a loving, fun situation.
“Andy’s 2024 album is titled,Monster.
Boogie Woogie began his clue package by saying,“Just like in Ghostbusters, there are ghosts everywhere!
You know what I do?
I put on my headphones, and I just keep moving.
“Various colored eyes popped out of the shadows at he said this.
As Boogie Woogie danced, he said,“You wanna gossip?
Super not my thing!
I have a go at keep it positive with everything I do.
It’s something I learned from my parents at a very young age.
I mean, they made kids' shows, so it makes sense.
They did everything they could do to give me a really good life.”
And that’s what I’ve become known for.
“A telescope with a star in it was then shown.
“Andy is known for his positivity, including his first single, “Keep Your Head Up.”
He also has a song called, “Saved My Life.”
Boogie Woogie added,“But of course with all the optimism comes criticism.
Some people call me naive, sheltered, fake.
I’m not gonna lie: that hurts.
Boogie Woogie then shrugged it off and said,“But I’m not gonna stop being me.
And if it continues to make people happy, then I have done my job.
“He then picked up a pair of gold dancing shoes.
After Boogie Woogie’s performance, another clue was given about his identity.
OriginalGhostbustersstar Ernie Hudson delivered the clue, which was a certificate that said,“Doctorate of Medical Science.
“Boogie Woogie explained,“Nothing scary about this clue.
In fact, being attached to this show was a very pleasant surprise.
“Andy has performed for patients at several different hospitals.
Sounds like a quack guess from a quack doc.
If you want the real meaning of that clue, use your brain.
You know, the gray matter?
“Andy has a song called “Gray.”
Boogie Woogie began his competition performance by saying,“Mom, this is for you.
“He then sang a powerful and moving version of “Something in the Water” by Carrie Underwood.
But, for me, there was no one with a better voice than my mom.
“A framed photograph of Boogie Woogie’s mom was then shown.
I guess you could say that’s where I got it.
There must’ve been something in the water.
“This was another reference to Andy’s parents' music careers.
And, suddenly, the house was quiet.
On that day, I was changed.
A darkness washed over me, and I was out of hope.
I found it hard to keep going.
“Andy’s mom passed away due to breast cancer in 2009.
So I began playing her music.
And suddenly, I felt the rooms fill with her warmth again.
Boogie Woogie was then shown hugging a record.
He concluded his clue package by saying,“I miss her every day.
But hearing her voice is the next best thing to having her here.
And, tonight, I have faith that I’ve got an angel on my side.”
Boogie Woogie explained,“People say I hit a real home run at the World Series.
Before the results were announced, Detective Lucky Duck appeared to give an important clue about all three panelists.
But–spoiler alert!–there’s no one enjoying this more than my kids.
“Andy has two children with his wife of 12 years, singer and songwriter Aijia Grammer.
He replied,“No.
“She then asked him if he can actually rollerblade, and he said,“Of course.
I’m dressed like this.
Let’s do this already!
“Jenny has never interviewed Andy.
Boogie Woogie began his clue package by saying,“I’m so glad I made it this far.
And I definitely wouldn’t have made it here on my own.
There’s one person who has helped shape the soundtrack of my life.
Andy is married toAijia Grammer, a singer and songwriter.
I remember how hard he took the loss of his mother.
I had never seen him so low.
But he channeled all of his grief into his writing.
And he made some of the most inspiring hits because of it.
“This was another reference to the passing of Andy’s mom.
Boogie Woogie’s wife continued,“He’s inspired my music too.
She also appeared onThe Voiceseason 10.
“Boogie Woogie’s wife then held up a silver suitcase that said,“SUPER SUIT.
“She concluded by saying,“Love you, baby!
This is your golden hour.
Now go out there and get that Golden Mask Trophy.”
Especially when we got to sing at sunset at the White House.
“When Rita asked which president he sang for, he said,“Can’t tell you.
“Andy sang at the 2022 White House Fourth of July celebration when Joe Biden was the president.
Pearl advanced directly to the finale, whileBoogie Woogie went to the Smackdown with Coral.
I’m not going anywhere, Honey!
Okay, you’ve got me fired up now.
I’m tapping into emotions that have been asleep for way too long.
That’s what it’s gonna take to beat a wildcard like Pearl.
After his performance, Boogie Woogie revealed that he was connected to Ken.
I promise, when this is over, I will finally follow you back.
