Transparisteel is far less durable than beskar.
This means that, while it is still strong, it is a lot more vulnerable to being broken.
One way thatThe Mandalorian & Grogucould show Din Djarin’s face is through a similar Darth Vader-esque face-reveal moment.

It’s possible that they would excommunicate him again.
Thus, showing Din Djarin’s face in this way could potentially be risky.
