An eternal unreality, the nothingness that will eventually consume all living things.
In other words, theymanifest wherever magic is found and bound.
They areunexpected, unpredictable responses generated from attempting to control and bind the arcane.
Set in the League of Legends universe, Arcane focuses on sisters Violet and Powder (later Jinx) as they end up on opposite sides of a growing conflict between the wealthy utopia of Piltover and its dark undercity whose citizens wish to break away from their oppressors. Interestingly, Jayce used an analogy suggesting they are generated by repeated manipulation of the arcane.
