This news comes afterSarah Michelle Gellar confirmed theBuffyreboot is progressingquickly.
The new slayer is reportedly Nova, a16-year-old, highly intelligent lone wolf.
The fact that Gellar will be an executive producer on the reboot is an exciting indicator of creative control.
While Buffy will be in the new series, she will not be a main character.
