After 327 episodes across fifteen seasons,Supernaturalfinally came to an end, breaking the hearts of many fans.
Periodically, rumors have popped up about aSupernaturalminiseriesor a 2-hour revival movie, though nothing has ever been confirmed.
Fans have still held out hope it will eventually come back, launching online campaigns to revive the show.
However,Jared Padalecki revealed in an interview withCBRthat they actually had a plan.
When speaking about his show Walker, the question naturally came up whether he would play hisSupernaturalcharacter again.
Heres what he said:
“The simple answer to your question is 100%.
I will play Sam Winchester again.
Jensen will play Dean Winchester again.
Its sort of a timing and availability thing.
In 2020, we’re ending this.
Let’s get together in five years and see what Sam and Dean are up to.”
He plays Mark Meachum inCountdownand Soldier Boy inVought Rising, both of which are currently in pre-production.
Hes also rumored to be attached to a spinoff of Fire Country, in which he played Camden Casey.
