However,inThe Mandalorian and Grogu, the Razor Crest is back.

IG-11’s sacrifice, for example, was one of the most emotionally impactful moments ofThe Mandalorianseason 1.

Bringing IG-11 back to life simply nullifies this sacrifice and its ramifications.

Where the Razor Crest is concerned, the ship being rebuilt lessens the sadness of it being destroyed.

For Din, the Razor Crest was the only home he ever had.

The promise in question was Din’s vow to hunt down Imperial remnants in the Outer Rim.
