Petey was a minor character inSeveranceseason 1 who unfortunately died at the end of episode 3.
Essentially, the characters' “innies” and “outies” are completely different people.
TheSeveranceseason 1 cast also included Yul Vazquez as Petey.
Before the events of season 1, Petey discovered some Lumon secrets that prompted him to leave the company.
However, the effects of the severance procedure eventually led to his death.
Therefore, it is currently unknown if Petey will appear in theupcomingSeveranceseason 2.

Petey’s departure led to Mark being named the new department chief.
InSeveranceseason 1, it is stated that this procedure is irreversible.
Therefore, she was the one who helped Petey reintegrate, which led to him fleeing from the company.
On the run from Lumon, Petey reached out to Mark’s outie in the show’s first season.
These side effects eventually led to Petey’s death in episode 3 ofSeveranceseason 1.
Common symptoms of reintegration sickness include dizziness, confusion, memory lapses, and headaches.
Petey also experienced hallucinations inSeveranceseason 1.
