It also came long before Villeneuve gained international popularity for movies likeArrivalandBlade Runner 2049.
No other pairing besides Sheridan and Villeneuve could have made a movie as intense asSicario.
Both Sheridan and Villenueve really need a good counterpart in all of their projects.
Both of the creatives have simply turned their attention to other projects, andSicario3fell through the cracks.
