Now,Entertainment Weeklyhas releasednew images of Helberg’s arrival inNight Courtseason 3, teasing his reunion with his former co-star fromThe Big Bang Theory.
The first image shows a behind-the-scenes look at the pair together, smiling, while the second is a close-up of Helberg, smirking.
The images don’t offer any concrete clues as to who he might be, and why his arrival is so important for Abby.

Helberg’s Howard was part of the series from the very start, while Rauch joined as Bernadette from season 3 onward.
Night Court is a 2023 series following optimistic judge Abby Stone, daughter of the late Harry Stone, as she oversees the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court, navigating a group of quirky and skeptical colleagues, including former prosecutor Dan Fielding.
Their reunion may not be the first one to happen on her newest show, but it does seem like it will have a long-standing impact on the series moving forward.
In the original Night Court, John Larroquette’s Dan Fielding was a notorious womanizer, but in the revival, he is a changed man for good.
