However, he found redemption during the climax of the third film, when he turned on Gerald Robotnik.
In the video games,Metal Sonic was created by Ivo Robotnik and can perfectly imitate Sonic’s abilities.
This makes him a worthy adversary to Sonic.
Therefore, he is a villain that is continuously deadset on taking out Sonic.
In their robotic forms, this group of characters are known as the Roboticized Masters.
