After all, Kreese’s star student was the one who revived Cobra Kai in the first place.

Ultimately, Sam and Daniel decided to take Mr. Miyagi’s advice and avoided the fight entirely.

Robby entered the Sekai Taikai while deeply distracted and unable to lead his team effectively.

Miguel ultimately accepted this fact and helped Robby regain his confidence for the final matches in Barcelona.

When the Sekai Taikai came to the Valley for a finals do-over, Miguel was behind Robby 100 percent.

Daniel, Robby, Sam, and the rest of the Miyagi-Dos fully supported this.

The ending ofCobra Kaiessentially took the ending ofThe Karate Kidand turned it on its head.

This time, Johnny was the less experienced and technically skilled fightera classic karate underdog.

Of course, he wound up winning in the end.
