His story ended definitively in season 1 with a well-earned death.
However, I think there is a route back that doesnt undermine his death.
Kilgrave died at Jessicas hands literally in an act that was both empowering and tragic.
However, not all deaths should be reversed.
Kilgraves death was narratively essential.
That creative workaround was the perfect way tohonor the character without undoing the impact of his death.

Over 17 years and 35 movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies have redefined blockbuster cinema.
But how do all the films stack up?
Her mind-control powers are similar, but her choices and morality have often diverged.

Second, focusing on Kara or other Purple Children opens up compelling thematic territory.
These are rich, character-driven questions the MCU has only scratched the surface of.
Finally, the inclusion of successors doesnt preclude Tennants return in flashbacks or as a psychic projection.
It actually creates more space for that.
It also plays perfectly into the MCUs evolving structure.
David Tennants Kilgrave is too good to forget, but not so essential that he needs to be resurrected.
TheMCUcan and should continue his story by passing the torch to the next generation.
