The relationship drama surrounding Gabriel is just one small piece ofEmily in Paris' much larger story.
The pair start as neighbors in the same building and meet when Emily accidentally tries to enter his apartment.
Gabriel and Emily then decide to take romance off the table and continue on as platonic friends.
However, Emily rebuffs him because she doesn’t want to hurt Camille.
However, Gabriel receives another job offer and stays in Paris.
Emily and Gabriel go out to lunch together, and they are constantly complimented on being a beautiful couple.
Camille witnesses the kiss, and it is the last straw.
Camille then reveals to the gathered wedding party her pact with Emily not to date Gabriel.
Thiscauses Alfie to break up with Emily, as Camille storms off.
Meanwhile, Camille and Sofia stay in Gabriel’s apartment as Gabriel and Emily struggle to find time alone.
The living arrangements certainly complicate matters, especially in Emily’s eyes.
