This causes Leela to realize that she needs to make a friend group of her own.
However,giving Leela an entirely new friend group in episode 5 was the perfect solution to this.
Futurama follows the exploits of Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy from 1999 who is cryogenically frozen for 1000 years.
