WithFinal Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3being one of themost anticipated RPGsof all time, expectations are incredibly high.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3will be a huge game - although one hopesnot as big asRebirth.
So, the lack of meaningful updates and the gap in time betweenRebirthandPart 3are understandable.
However,it is antithetical to the way modern media has set up expectations for sequels.
Games can’t be announced too far in advance, but also not too close to release.
A lengthy break could undo all of that.
PlayingFF7to figure out what will happen inPart 3isn’t a practical solution.
It took Square Enix five years to makeRemakeand four years to develop Rebirth.
However, it also has its own challenges to overcome.
On top of that,Square has to differentiatePart 3fromRebirthenough to not just sell the same experience twice.
As a result, it is safe to say thatFF7 Remake Part 3’srelease dateis a long way away.
Rebirth’sdwindling saleswere, at the very least, resulting from the four-year gap between it and its predecessor.
