In the sophomore year, however, In-ho has a much bigger role.
He maintains a low profile throughout the duration of the game and wins the trust of the other competitors.

He’s so convincing in his conviction that it makes his betrayal so much more tragic.
As Gi-hun rallies his fellow players, they find themselves somehow winning against the guards.
In-ho continues to stay with them until he’s isolated.
Squid Game is a South Korean series released in 2021 about financially struggling individuals who are invited to participate in a series of children’s games. The competition offers a lucrative prize but comes with perilous consequences, as the players soon discover the lethal stakes involved in each round.
That’s when he shows his true colors by attacking the contestants.
For a while, this was the running theory until In-ho killed Jung-bae.
Korean dramas tackle a wide variety of topics, and not all of them end with a happy send-off.
Some of them wrap up in heartbreaking fashion.
Iris also had a compelling love story that K-dramas are known for.
Can Front Man Still Be Redeemed In Squid Game?
That being said, this doesn’t mean that In-ho cannot be redeemed.
It will all boil down to Gi-hun’s response inSquid Gameseason 3.
It’s also worth noting thatJun-ho is still a factor in the story.
That said, redeeming In-ho shouldn’t mean that he won’t be held accountable for his crimes.
