Camilla called after Maria left and let Harry know that she seemed to be off of Dexter’s trail.

The fact that Dexter went nonverbal after Laura’s death likely helped her come to that decision.
Tanya’s words also had a big impact on Deb later inOriginal Sin.
Dexter’s work with the blood drive was far from over, however.
Dexter’s newfound friend and confidant, Clark Sanders (Aaron Jennings), asked for his help.
Brian, however, didn’t see it that way, and he would get even years later.
