With that in mind, it is only fitting thatFast & Furious 11ends with the death of Dominic Toretto.

In many ways, this would be a bold move.

After all, Dom Toretto is synonymous with theFast & Furiousfranchise.

As Dom and his crew will tell you, a Fast and Furious life is dangerous.

Good and bad guys alike have met their end in the car-racing franchise.

This feeling of safety comes from the different formulas the franchise has settled into two different times.

Fast & Furious 11is currently set for a 2026 release date after being delayed from 2025.

Aside from being a shocking development, the moment could also be very emotionally impactful if done correctly.

One such issue has already been alluded to: the franchise never has a definitive ending.

Another criticized element of theFast & Furioussaga is that it has no real stakes regarding character deaths.

Dom Toretto dying would fix this immeasurably.

InF9: The Fast Saga,it was revealed that Han survived thanks to the efforts of Mr. Nobody.

Finally,Fast Xconfirmed that Gal Gadot’s Gisele survived her apparent “death” inFast & Furious 6.
