Reacherseason 2 had a glaring issue, which is finally being addressed by a supporting character in season 3.

One ofReacherseason 3’s supporting charactershas also surprisingly addressed one storytelling flaw season 2 failed to address.

If Reacher had not immediately killed him, Angel would have exposed him to Zachary Beck and Xavier Quinn.

Owing to this strong sense of justice, Reacher would never go for the former.

However, choosing the latter would have led him to his own deathbed.

Even with A.M., the Special Investigators could have easily handed him over to law enforcement.

Instead,they became accomplices to his vigilantism and encouraged him to resort to extreme violence.
