Pearsonwas canceled after just one season, which seemingly showed that viewers were not interested in aSuitsspinoff just yet.
However, a lot has changed since 2019, namely the fact thatSuitsis now bigger than ever.
Suits LAwill air on Sundays, 9pm EST on NBC.
AlthoughSuitswas successful during its original run, the show has since become a global hit thanks to streaming.
Suits LA, on the other hand, is going for an all-new set of characters.
However,Pearsonwould only premier in 2019 in the same monthSuits final season came out.

Suits LAis expected to have its own identity and will hopefully not be justSuitsbut set on the West Coast.
However, the spinoffs premise makes it much closer toSuitsthan toPearson.
