Top to bottom, Netflix’sOne Pieceensemble was perfectly picked, and I eagerly await their returns inOne Pieceseason 2. Nevertheless, the series may eventually become a victim of its own success. Avoiding this phenomenon will be impossible, but there is one saving grace. They reunite, and an unspecified number of months then pass before the current point in the manga. All the Straw Hats' achievements happening inside such a short expanse of time feels unfeasible....

The nextupcomingJohn Wickspinoff movie,Ballerina, remains something of a mystery. It’s also not clear how much inspirationBallerinawill take from the rest ofJohn Wick. Pine may have to pick up the slack and give Eve a reason to join this world of assassins. Hopefully,Ballerinaremembers that lesson and makes Norman Reedus' Pine as important as he needs to be. Despite having the same premise, 2014’sRoboCopwas very different from the original film in a lot of ways. The long-teasedReacher vs Paulie fightalso proved to be worth the buildup. Overall, it’s a remarkably happy ending - despite the high bodycount. Teresa has been, for lack of a better term, a living McGuffin throughout the series. Nasser smugly states she won’t shoot as the noise would draw his men to the room. Their eventual clash had been hyped from the beginning, and it didn’t disappoint. The Reacher/Paulie fight is cartoonish by design, but there is a harsh intimacy to Nasser’s execution....
